make a sign that says something creative and catchy, to be sure it gets on tv.
when you see your sign on the giant monitor by the stage, pull the rope attatched to the sign with cat-like quickness to reveal yet another, more accurate sign:

That is sweet....one suggestion. If you are going with a group (preferably a bunch of guys who don't mind making asses of themselves) get each one to dress up like a different character: Spiderman, Superman, Batman, etc. and then have it read:If I am there, I am gong to dress in a spiderman get up with a sign that says:

the sign is cliche, but with the the getup it might just work!

I was on another board, and there was an idea about whenever Kirk is talking, for there to be silence. Like nothing is said. People will hold up the Daily Nebraskan and read it, and right when someone else starts talking, we put the signs back up, and go crazy once again, and continue to do it. and then maybe have something posted at the bottom that says
