Has anybody seen the new ESPN mag. with the write-up on the Sandman. That dude is struggling pretty hard. It talks about his daily struggles with pain and depression. Football really messed his body up bad. Ginobili from the Spurs is on the cover. It is a pretty interesting article.

It says that he can't sleep because if he lays flat the back of his head goes numb from neck injuries. He has to try and sleep on his knees with his upper body laying on the bed. It says is looks like he falls asleep praying. His left knee is bone on bone. He takes six pills a day for depression. Mike Singletary tried talking him into coming to SF and getting into coaching but the Sandman said no. He doesn't want the stress.

Jason Peter is goingthrough alot different treatments right now..

Yeah but Jason Peter is a drug addict. He abused perscription and illegal drugs...he looks like crap, I saw a HBO special on him. Looks like he weights about 160 pounds. Brain dead

 
NS? I didnt realize that. Seems like its been kept pretty quiet around Husker nation. Sad. What a waste of talent. So whats Christian been up to?

 
This is going to sound ignorant, but are you talking about the Sandman, Broderick (sp?) Thomas??

Also, I had no idea that JP was in such bad shape.
