Brian Griese of ESPN U picks the Huskers to go 11-1 in the regular season with the lone loss to AtM...I say if we are 9-0 going into that game, there is no way we lose either one of those last two games. I know anything is possible on the road even on an uphill playing field both ways.

"Finish", he obviously is not aware of this!

I could actually agree easily with that.

AnM is the one big game I'm worried about as Kyle Field is a rough place to play, and Jerrod Johnson is a damn fine QB.

aTm is going to have a good team this year. i am def worried about it. after a rough stretch in october hopefully a fully healthy team can go down there and get it done. we shall see. it will be exciting to watch

Too many factors to think about between now and then. Wayyyyyy too many.

But one thing to remember is Bo how well we've done in November in the last two seasons...

I just have the feeling that A&M will be this years Okie State. A good team but they won't be able to stay with the top teams. The similarities are there, above average offense with a sketchy defense that could possibly be alright.

Of course Nebraska is in the same position, but I'd take a great defense with sketchy offense over a great offense with a sketchy defense any day.

I agree with you. Their offense can be electric but they were also 6-7 last year. If we are 9-0 heading into that game and everyone is on board with this "finish" thing, then I'm sure our senior's will remember the last time we faced AtM.

Actually we could be 10-0 going into that game, unless SDSU game doesnt count.

The more I think about it, the more I worry about this game. When teams get 8 or 9 or 10-0, the target gets really big on their back. I believe A&M by November, they will have their offense rolling in high gear by then and defense should be able to stop the intermural club by then. The stadium will be rocking for sure.

I really see us if we're going to lose just one game this year it's probably going to be either Texas (not going to even think that) or we're going to have a let down against Okie State the week after Texas than the A&M game. One thing that's been trending with Bo is that they have one game they lay an egg in during mid-late October. Texas is in the position for the egg, but it's too big a game and too important.

It would take an ISU '09 type of performance to lose to Okie Lite, their gonna be terrible team this year. Honestly the 3 games im worried about the most are A&M, Texas, Mizzou, in that order. A&M is #1 because its on the road.

I gotta agree with that. Oklahoma St will have very, very rough sledding this year. I can't see them as any real threat at all.

I still rank Texas as our toughest game due to TAM's hopeless defense. It will be fun to watch our offense vs TAM's defense. Someone has to win.....right? :laughpound
