ESPN Week 12 Bowl Projections.

how do we end up as the B1G #2 wouldn't Mich. be #2 if Mich St. loses.
Yes, but that link is predicting the Big 10 will get 2 BCS bids. Michigan will go to one, and the winner of the Big 10 Championship between Wisconsin and Michigan State will go to the other. We will likely be ranked ahead of the loser of the CCG, provided we win against Iowa, so that makes us the first choice as a Big 10 team not competing in a BCS bowl.

That's how I see it playing out as well.

Arkansas will probably do dirty, dirty things to us, but oh well.

Arkansas is one dimensional and who have they really beat this year? They should have lost to A&M except A&M doesn't play in the second half. I don't think their D is strong either. If Neb could slow down the passing game, I see a competitive game.

I would rather play Notre Dame. That would probably get a huge rating. Would really help with recruiting , with a win.

GBR!!!

Actually were we finish doesn't matter...we could finish 5th and still get selected by the Capital One Bowl with the #2 spot. The Big 10 bowls do NOT have to follow order of finish. The only one "locked" in is the CCG winner to Rose.... With a win over Iowa, a 9-3 NU team that hasn't played in Capital One or Outback would be attractive, even if we are below other schools.... (Did play in old "Citrus", but in Capital One)

Arkansas should have lost to Vanderbilt... VANDERBILT. I think we'll be okay if it happens, especially if you give the Pelini's an entire month to get things straightened.

The BTN football forum speculates that NU goes to a bowl game in Florida, because NU has not been in Florida for a number of years.
