What? There was a rose bowl this year? USC and Penn St. played? Thats weird, i never saw one commercial. And they never talked about it, they only talked about the upcoming bowls. I wish they wouldn't of talked about the other bowls so much and maybe mentioned USC's defense. :sarcasm

 
Once you got passed on the Rose Bowl stuff, which I know was hard to do, they gave NU quite a bit of love and Reece called them an "It" team for next year. Out of all of the non-Rose teams, I thought NU got the most love for whatever its worth.

 
They were still showing Gator Bowl highlights just about every hour as of the hour before the Cotton Bowl started. I haven't been watching SC since then.

 
Aftr the game me and the son hung around by the Huskers busses, met Lucky and got his 'graph on my son's jersey, very cool. All the players got their own post game pizzas, everyboddy walking around with them and a few gatorades, funny to see some of the guys sharing it with friends and family who were there to see them.

After that we headed north on 95 and stopped at Sticky Fingers for some ribs before finally getting on the road I guess around 9pm, maybe later, the USC game was already over. Put my Sirrius on the ESPN channel, looking to hear some talk about OUR game....it was NON-STOP USC this, and USC that...

I was ready to just turn it off, when they finally mentioned we were coming up, it was still another 25 minutes, and it was brief.
