ESPN's FPI Loves Them Some SEC

Any way they can get SEC teams into the playoffs easier it's a win win for ESPN. You'd think they'd at least attempt to try an hide it a bit but this is blatant.

This comes after the SEC finished 5-5 in bowl games, and the vaunted SEC West finished 2-5.

And are approaching *gasp* THREE years without a national title! I hope Wisconsin finds a way to piss-pound Alabama into the ground in a month's time.

ESPN's very own FPI (and BPI for basketball) is a load of crap used to help protect the teams that they have a very vested interest in. Pray tell me, oh might ESPN! What data is your unbiased computer-projected FPI being calculated upon? Exactly zero games have been played this season, so I'm guessing their formula only takes dollars and cents into account rather than unnecessary things such as wins and losses (or god forbid SOS). Would it be too much to at least make a half assed effort at hiding where their loyalties lie?

At least they put Ohio State at the top I guess.
