Kenny Dalglish Given 3 Year Deal At Liverpool

Kenny Dalglish has been awarded a 3 year deal to take over as Liverpool manager, with Steve Clarke continuing in his role as assistant.

Dalglish returned in January following the firing of Roy Hodgson and has led Liverpool from the bottom half of the table up to fifth in the Premier League.

Manchester City is set for a mass exodus at the end of the season, with captain Carlos Tevez among a number of players who could leave the club, according to The Times. The club is keen to strike a balance between building a title-winning team and managing salaries, which, at $152.5 million, exceeded the club’s total turnover last year.

Bayern Munich Sign Schalke's Manuel Neuer

Bayern Munich have agreed on a deal to bring Schalke's Manuel Neuer to the Allianz Arena, according to Bild.

Bayern will pay $18 million upfront for the German keeper with a further $7 million a possible part of the transfer, $3 million guaranteed with the remaining $4 million in performance-related bonuses.

Schalke accepted Bayern's offer after 3 hours of negotiations between the two clubs with it being reported that Neuer will sign a 4 year contract with the Munich powerhouse.
