Guardiola Looking To Replace Ibrahimovic With Robinho
Spanish radio station Cadena SER is reporting the Swedish striker is no longer welcome at Camp Nou and Guardiola has identified Robinho as the likely replacement. Cadena SER is also reporting Robinho has already reached terms for a contract and will publicly state his desire to join Barca within the next few hours. This deal would be contigent on Barcelona paying $20 million of Ibra's salary (Ibra makes $10 million per year).
Despite recent reports linking Ibrahimovic with AC Milan, it appears only Manchester City can afford to pay his massive salary.

Barca Vice-President Josep Maria Bartomeu has denied a swap deal with Manchester City involving Ibrahimovic and Robinho. However, Bartomeu admitted the club will not rule out tabling a bid for the Brazilian ace. "We have been working in the market for many months with some names but the decision of Guardiola is (to buy) the young players for the squad and the club accepts this decision," he told Sport (a Spanish newspaper).

Absolutely! Thanks for your updates. I've become a big fan of the EPL and other European leagues over the last 2 years. There's something to be said for a game that can be watched in full within 2 hours, with no commercial interruption during the action. The passion of the fans at the games is incredible. They live and die with each game, just like us Husker fans. It's really cool that they develop their own chants, songs, etc and belt them out for the entire match. Unfortunately, American football has developed into everyone turning into robots and watching the massive video screens dictate when you should stand up and get loud.

The signing of David Villa fueled speculation Ibra was the odd man out in the fight for a position in the starting 3. Ibra will now have to battle with Villa, Messi, Bojan and Pedro for a starting job.

Alberto Aquilani To Leave Liverpool For Italy
UPDATE: Il Corriere dello Sport is claiming Aquilani will join Juventus for the 2010-2011 season with an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season for $17 million.
Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson told liverpoolfc.tv Aquilani is not guaranteed a starting position at Anfield and will probably return to Italy on loan.
"At the moment we are considering possibly loaning him to an Italian club, but nothing is sure about that yet," Hodgson revealed, before hinting the player still has a future at the club beyond the current campaign.
"I didn't want to use him tonight just in case the loan goes through because for Aquilani this year it's very important that he plays regular football, every week as the number one man on the team sheet...
I can't promise him that here so if a loan move to Italy could help him in that respect it might be good for all parties...
It would certainly be what he needs, it would certainly protect the value of the player and when he does return to Liverpool no doubt we will see the Aquilani that we signed before he came here injured last year."

Dirk Kuyt To Leave Liverpool For Inter
According to a report from De Telegraaf (a Dutch newspaper), Inter Milan have agreed to buy Kuyt from Liverpool. Kuyt was held out of yesterday's Europa League game between Liverpool and Trabzonspor.
"Yes, there is real interest from Inter, but Dirk has not decided yet whether he does want to leave Liverpool. He must think carefully before leaving," Kuyt's agent Rob Jansen told Voetbal International.
