Atletico Madrid Offer Diego Forlan To Real Madrid For $15.5 million

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Atletico Madrid have offered striker Diego Forlan to Real Madrid for a fee of $15.5 million in the January transfer window. Marca claims Atleti want to cash in on the World Cup Golden Ball winner, who has struggled for form this season, failing to score in his last 12 appearances. Forlan’s buy-out clause is set at $31 million, but it is thought that president Enrique Cerezo may be willing to accept half that amount.

 
Agent: "Bojan Krkic unsure over future"

The agent of Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic insists his client will be staying with the club in January, but is unsure whether he will leave in June.

Zoran Vekic says Krkic is being pursued by a host of European sides including Inter, Juventus and Arsenal.

"Bojan is a Barcelona player and will not be leaving over the winter," Vekic told Footmercato.net. "He is happy with his current situation, but we will re-evaluate the situation once the season is over."

 
Pato Out 6 Weeks With Hamstring Injury

AC Milan have confirmed Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato will be sidelined for around six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury against Palermo on Wednesday.

The Brazilian scored the first goal in Milan's 3-1 victory but was taken off midway through the second half.
