UEFA Hand Gattuso 4 Match Ban

UEFA have handed Milan's Gennaro Gattuso a 4 match ban for his actions in the Champions League encounter against Tottenham last week. Gattuso was charged with "gross unsporting conduct" after head-butting Tottenham assistant Joe Jordan at the end of the game.

The 33 year old had already been booked during the game and was set to miss the return leg in London, meaning that he will now sit out the next five European matches. He will not be able to play in the tournament again this season unless Milan reach the final. Otherwise, his punishment will carry over to 2011-12.
