In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Chelsea striker Fernando Torres says he is determined to repay the fans who have supported him despite his difficult start at Stamford Bridge.

And I promise them the one thing I have never done and will never do in my life is give up."

English FA Charges Luis Suarez With Racial Abuse

The English FA has charged Liverpool's Luis Suarez after Manchester United's Patrice Evra accused him of racial abuse in the 1-1 draw at Anfield in October. This decision comes following a flurry of allegations in which QPR defender Anton Ferdinand has accused Chelsea and England captain John Terry of racism, while FIFA president Sepp Blatter insists that racism is not present in football.

The FA's official statement reads: "It is alleged that Suarez used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Manchester United’s Patrice Evra contrary to FA rules. It is further alleged that this included a reference to the ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race of Patrice Evra.”

Carlos Tevez's Representative Says Talks With Manchester City Are Underway

Carlos Tevez's representative claims talks with Manchester City are on-going as both parties look to resolve the current situation as fast as possible. Tevez left England last week to return to Argentina without City’s permission, and has failed to report back for training this week, as well as not attending a scheduled meeting.

"Over the weekend there have been a series of meetings and conference calls," Tevez's representative told the Press Association. "Carlos is still in Argentina, however, [and] both sides are kind of in agreement that they want a resolution as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Discussions will probably be ongoing for the foreseeable future."
