Fall Camp 2022

"He does some things that young qbs don't do"

Examples (guessing)

1. Get rid of it

2. Don't hold the ball too long

3. Don't run when you sense immediate pressure

4. Step into the pocket, find your guy and sling it

5. Move the chains by throwing the ball, not by scrambling all over the place
This is what I’m looking forward to Casey doing this year.

So, our edge rushers are awesome…..or out tackles are struggling.

I hope it’s that our edge rushers are really good. They will then make our tackles better.
I think it's a little of both.  Teddy is still getting in shape so I'm surr Nelson is working him. On the other side is Benhart and he struggled last year and I'm sure we have made improvements on that side on defense.

I would have played K Williams (7foot wingspan) at LT instead of Banks.  If he is still getting beat these days - in practice or scrimmage - then put the next man in.  (In place of Teddy).

This isn't the NFL.  You can protect the QB and send edge rushers out of the way.  IMO.  If that's not so, Garrett Nelson would have had 15-20 sacks last year.  Which did not happen at all.
