Fall Camp Updates - Defensive Line

Just hit up Amigos...two soft tacos, two crisp meats, two crisp pintos and an order of Mexi-Fries.

Don't forget the ranch (Best ranch ever) and hot cheese sauce (don't let it touch your skin)

Heard Khalil was getting reps at DT. HCMR said he will likely not play there every down (probably not 3rd downs). However, he could see him playing there on 1st downs between the two 30 yardlines.

I just have to say that Mick Stoltenberg is a well spoken player on this team. He is a cool guy and wants whats best for this team and the defense. He will start at NT and I hope he has a dominating year, not necessarily in the stat sheet but by affecting plays and being someone that offensive lines have to worry about.

Spoke to Zach Sterup in line at Amigos at 2am once. I think you had his order spot on.

SEEN: Deontre Thomas getting a sack of O’Brien during his two-minute drill. Thomas is pushing for playing time.

SEEN: Thomas working with the top defensive units while Damion Daniels worked with the lower units.

Ben Stille, a redshirt freshman from Ashland has had a good camp.

“Ben has been one of the more improved players since fall camp started,” Diaco said. “He’s learning how to play harder. He’s learning how to cut it loose and not be thinking. He’s a very cerebral young man. Very smart. In some instances in the past you spend time thinking, and that’s not the time. It’s a reacting man’s game. He’s done a really good job of cutting it loose, so to speak, and playing hard.”
