As some of you have read a previous topic of mine in regards to my daughter in daycare and being sick all of the time. My wife and I had to bring her in to the ER last night and they admitted her to Children's Hospital. She has pneumonia, but they also diagnosed her with RSV. It has been a very scary 24 hours and she has made some small progress. I am asking that you say a quick prayer for a quick and speedy recovery.

Damn man, my prayers go out to you during this time. One of my twins was born with pneumonia, but he's doing great now. We fought like hell to get our insurance company to cover the RSV shots that the boys are getting right now. Did she get those???

 
I wish you and your family the best. It is always scary when young children become sick. Hope she will have a speedy recovery.

 
this thread is totally not what i expected but i hope your daughter recovers quickly and fully. having pneumonia as an adult sucks, has to be awful for your kid to have it. we'll be pulling for you and yours. good luck

 
Thanks to you all for the kind words. We are all very grateful! She is getting better...slowly, but still making small progress. We have no idea how long we are going to be here, but we are in the best place we can be.

 
Said a little prayer for her just now. Rest assured that she is getting the best care possible at Children's. I have no doubt she will pull through this. Give her lots of loves and hugs.

 
Thanks again to you all! It is greatly appreciated. She had a tough, but stable day yesterday. They have moved her oxygen down to 50% so she can start breathing more on her own. Having both RSV and pneumonia is making the recovery very slow and difficult for her. Keep the prayers coming!
