I was asked to speak at my Wife's Grandfather's Wake service about memories we had about him. One memory that got laughter was when he would have you over for supper.

"Do you want anymore meat?"

"No thank you?"

"Anymore salad, or veggies? We don't want you to tell people we sent you home hungry.."

"No thank you, if I have anymore, I'm gonna burst"

"Ok, time to bring out dessert.."

I always love when people express the good times, it might make you miss them that much more, but you feel a warmth in your heart knowing they are still a part of you.

The intersection next to the funeral home here in Geneva has no STOP or YIELD signs. Coincidence? I think not.

Nothing real funny, but I have been to a Buddhist funeral. A friend of ours mother was Japanese, Navy bride, it was an interesting funeral. Lots of chanting, gong ringing and incense burning.

On the way to the cemetary the paul bearers all rode in a limo for my great aunts funeral. We were halfway there when a cement truck blew through a stop sign right in front of us. My Dad says "You guys just about drummed up alot more business".
