Favorite "Old School" Beer

All 40oz talk begins and ends with Steel Reserve.

Cheap beer, ranked by NUpolo8

PBR

Coors Banquet

Labatt Blue

Miller Lite ONLY in the old school cans (NUpolo8 is a history buff, you guys)

Getting hit by a car

Icehouse.

Also, they should make 12 packs with 4 craft beers then 8 domesto's. Call it the "professional". Four tasties for drinking, the other eight for cruisin home, you guys.

Steel Reserve. Is that a "high gravity lager?"

Just looked it up, it is. I can't drink that stuff, too sweet.

Has anyone ever dabbled in home brewing?
Briefly but barely beyond the Mr. Beer level.

I know there are a couple homebrewers here. BRI maybe?
I have done it a couple of times. It is not hard and kind of fun, but my wife thinks it stinks up the house. Your basic starter brew kit is a special 5 gallon bucket with a well fitting lid. Keeping everything very sterile is essential.

My favorite old school beer is this one:

It was so good bruh, we used to drink it out of ram's horns before before going on the crusades.

Yeah, but more than dabble in it. It's a fun little hobby once you figure it out and have the equipment needed to do it with good results. BTW, any homebrew is likely much much better than any of the beers mentioned in this thread.

Tolerable old school brews;

Rainier

Old Style

Busch

Was going to mention Olympia but there is no discernible difference to watered down donkey piss.
