If I need a weapon, I am not choosing a pistol.

Etiher a Mossberg pumpaction, or a Rock River Arms LAR-15.

I won't ever own a pistol, because if it comes down to it, I'd pop you a new bad guy in the forehead before you even got close enough to shoot your little cap gun.

That AR or Mossberg always hits my knee when I try to wear it on my belt while out checking fences.
