Favre asks for trade

Now thats just crazy. Why would he risk the fan support he has left and do something like this? He wants to win, but Brett...stop throwing interceptions. We all know how predictable with the football he is in this day and age. He has his favorite WR our there and he throws to that one WR too often. Anyways, it sounds like he isn't happy with how is offense is going to be right now. Maybe BJAX can catch his attention after he's making the big plays in practice.

 
Seriously, what team would want Favre to start for their team? He is way past his prime....I'm not sure if he has any good years left in him. Not a wise decision to alienate the organization and fans that have been faithful to him throughout these years.

 
I think it would be a huge mistake on his part................why would he want to put a blemish on his otherwise perfect career???? :blink:

 
the last 2 or 3 seasons put enough of a blemish with all those INTs. I can see his frustration though. The front office sure hasnt helped him any, and most of the experts keep asking WTH are they doing in greenbay.

Probably because fan support means exactly jack sh1t when it comes to this. It's not like the fans run the team...

Uh, well, actually...that's to say, I don't mean to be a stickler for technical details, but...um, in Green Bay the fans do actually run the team - they own shares in it. And the shares confer voting rights, but not dividends or season tickets. The don't run the team on a day-to-day basis, but they do have the power to vote in whomever they want to run it the way they want on a day-to-day basis.
