I think it's important to keep in mind the true causes of a "jinx," "curse," or whatever else we want to call bad luck. I don't believe in luck. I believe in fortune because fortune has a measure of control associated with it. That's all it really boils down to for Nebraska. A somewhat loosely related example might be the Cubs. No, they were not "cursed" for 100+ years. They just had inconsistent leadership, management, unfortunate turns of events and bad rosters.
Nebraska's sort of had a similar situation. 20 years ago, we wouldn't have been near as apprehensive heading into a season because we had a lot of confidence in the leadership, coaching and roster. I'm hopeful this streak will end with Frost. So, no, I'm not worried. I'm going to keep drinking the koolaid until I have a reason not to because that's what fanaticism is all about!
