Rushing the field, coach is crying, and I'm embarrassed! Charlie Strong left us crap on the offensive side of the ball. Teddy and DeVante are no longer here to hide how bad the staff left this side of the ball. I can count on one hand offensive players who are worth a damn.
This was VIRGINIA.....2-10 last year. Middle of the pack in the ACC? They were 0-8 in the ACC last year. Virginia hasn't won an ACC game since 2011.
Virginia will not go to a bowl and if they happen to it will be one of those 6-6 bowls, they are not very good. The bottom line is we laid a huge 'ole egg yesterday.
Is the national title dream still alive?

We just plain did not deserve to win. We were outplayed by them.
Neither team has any toes left after so many shots to the foot. Louisville's muffed punt though, we blew our whole leg off.

Our teams are not consistent, they don't not have a scorers mentality. Beamers style of football will not win in today's college football. As O & M said, wake me up when Beamer retires.

All game....I had no idea what the offensive game plan was.Pounding head against the table hurts after awhile.
I guess what I don't understand is that aside from losing big games, this type of game is what we are known for. I don't know how after 26 years you can't figure out a way to keep your team focused after gaining some momentum and beat a team you should be able to beat.

This has happened year after year! There is no excuse for this, the coaching staff should have them better prepared, and this has occurred over and over again! It is time for Beamer and the coaching staff to retire, and and reduce the team to the current freshman class in hopes of removing the contamination! I do not say this easily, I have supported the Hokies since I became one and been a Beamer fan since he started. But enough is enough. No more snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!

these last two weeks were classic Beamer/tech. We knew this would be a letdown game and it still happened. I would have bet the house on ECU today. This is what I expect as a tech fan. Beamer is one giant letdown after another. Me personally? I'm sick of it. Blacksburg as a whole? They're probably fine if we get close to the acc champ. I want to win it all.

we aren't winning out. Back to back road trips halfway across the country will result in at least one loss (probably 2 if our defense doesn't grow up QUICK) and we can't beat auburn right now....or Florida and will probably struggle against UT and Tech....

If UGA can't beat this South Carolina team, they aren't beating Auburn, Alabama, LSU, or Texas A&M. So I guess we have to hope that Moo State somehow wins the West, and Carolina loses again.

Like you said. We are what we are. We are a 1, 2 or 3 loss team. Sometimes more. We are all the excuses like our QB, our O Line our defense and on and on. Meanwhile Alabama, LSU and even Auburn reload just about every year and they achieve greatness.

This is all on the coaching staff and it started long before this game.
Thoroughly out-coached in all three phases What a difference a week makes. Wow. They looked like they hadn't seen any film of this team.
One of the worst losses I can remember.
Sarks play calling pathetic.
Maybe the worst USC defense I've ever seen, and I've been watching for longer than I'd like to admit.
The worst part is that you could see this happening early in the 2nd quarter, but nothing was done differently until 4 minutes left in the game. This is why Sark has a .500 record. This is why we shouldn't have hired an unproven coach for millions of dollars.
Sark is terrible!!!! I have been reading how good it is for the last three weeks and could've believe we had this many irrational fans. Unfortunately, we are not that good of a team. Down vote me all you like
Sark is not a very good coach. I was surprised PH hired him. He won 7-8 games every year at Udub and that warranted a prestigious job like USC?
It's been ten years since the Reggie Bush years. The glorious time is a distant memory. I'm just hoping we go to a bowl game now. Because if I'm playing USC I run right at them every play with both the QB and RB. USC has no answer.

We lucked the hell out winning the Furd game last week when we easily could have (should have) been boat raced by 2+ TDs.. Thankfully Shaw went LK mode in the red zone.
And sorry to be a downer... but we just got pimp slapped by a crappy ACC team that (just a week ago) gave up 300+ rushing yards.... and made a QB who was benched on a 3-9 UF team look like Mike Vick in his prime.

I'd Like To Believe This Is Like A Loss In 2003. USC was on the rise with Pete Carroll at the helm. The prior year the Trojans surprised everyone with a great season, They were selected to play in the Orange Bowl and soundly defeated a good Iowa team. They looked good in their first three games of the season and were on the road against the Cal Bears who were a huge underdog. USC looked terrible early and fell behind by a huge margin and staged a valiant comeback but came up short in triple overtime That season the Trojans won the remainder of their games and finished number one in both the AP and Coaches Poll however due to BCS computer crap they were not selected to play in the BCS title game. Unfortunately, that game with Cal was very different than the debacle witnessed on ESPN against the Eagles. Against Cal the Trojans started sloppy with turnovers and overall poor play. Adjustments were made by the coaching staff and USC nearly snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Tonight there were no sloppy turnovers by USC. In fact the Trojans grabbed an early 10-0 lead and looked well on their way to an easy victory. This game was not lost by turnovers deep in Trojan territory. This game was lost by something worse. It was lost by terrible coaching on the offensive side of the ball in the form of failure to make obvious adjustments. It was clear BC had stopped the Trojan running game but was unable to stop the pass. For some crazy reason the running game continued on first and second downs until the waning minutes of the 4th quarter when someone woke up and decided all to late to exploit the opponent's weakness. Sadly, trying to see the bright side by comparing this defeat to a loss to a different underdog 11 years ago is not possible. Eleven years ago that USC team was well coached and as evidenced this evening, this USC team lacks good coaching.
Where to now, Coach? We hammered the on sand two holes. Gained all of 40 yards.BC out thunk us, our best in th elation defense given yup nearly 500 yard rushing. Is this our Trojan best we can do? Please lead us out of a nightmare potential of a season.

The writing didn't start at Stanford, it started when Fresno State was running all over us. I didn't want to believe it, but I knew our defense was soft right from the jump, they play nothing like they did last year. Wilcox is SORRY, HE SUCKS. You guys can put on your cardinal and gold glasses all you want, but this is the Kiffin era all over again on Offense and Defense. That's and overstatement, Kiffin was TWICE the offensive play caller Sark is and Kiffin SUCKED. Wilcox's sorry for nothing defensive scheme, OMFG. HE IS SOFT, OUR DLINE COACH IS SOFT TOO. OUR ENTIRE STAFF IS SOFT SAVE THE WR AND DB COACHES.
FIRE SARK NOW Haden is so mistaken for hiring this idiot out of Washington.
Hiring him over Chris Petersen was an unforgivable travesty on the part of Pat Haden. I honestly haven't watched a single game this season because I have been so depressed over this hire. I know this will be an 8-5 team year after year until the stink of Sark is gone. We had a chance to get a great coach for years to come, and instead we settled for a retread Trojan who defines mediocrity. Just so friggin sad.
goodbye guysI saw some PC teams lose some bad games, but nothing like this...the top ranked D line in the country giving up 400 yds rushing to a no name team pretty much MAC level..just beyond belief...not even sure how to respond...this game will make BC famous for years...no explanation at all for this. sark needs to be fired.

This game hurts, I expected a loss but not this bad.
Just embarrassing. Maybe a knee jerk reaction, but probably not. I feel this game set us back at least 2 years. We continue to be bottom feeders, the bright side though, is even bottom feeders can be 8ish win teams in the big ten.
So our offense has been attrocious.
Jerry Kill...is he the right guy? I know Minnesota is an after through for football and we have not been relevant for 50+ years but are we ok with being average every year. Waving the white flag before halftime down 24-0 is concerning...punting on 4th and 1 with 51 seconds left down 23 is a joke (I know game was out of hand at that time)
Does TCU make the playoff? I say yes they are 1 of 4 teams.
Kill is a great guy, but I don't think he's a great coach. He is too loyal to his ways and his coaches. Limegrover is terrible, and you have to just blame Kill for entrusting a Big Ten offense to Limegrover. As a head coach, you also have to be a great leader and be able to make the touch decisions... such as getting a new OC.
The only positive thing about the Gophers’ 30-7 loss to Texas Christian on Saturday was the fact that the Maroon and Gold outscored the home team 7-6 in the second half because they didn’t turn the ball over five times like they did in the first half, a big reason for the Horned Frogs’ 24-0 halftime lead.
Why did we mail it in at the end of the first half? The TCU fans that we were sitting by were laughing at us, saying it seemed like a defeatist decision.
Kill throws in the towel when things are going like they did today.
I hate that. Mason used to do that sometimes, too. It signals lack of confidence.
The towel would be the only thing we successfully threw the whole game.
Playing to keep the blow out manageable?

Remember when I said a few years ago... Reply That I knew several other COLLEGE football coaches, and that was KF was considered a laughing stock among those peers. I got absolutely destroyed at the time for making that honest and accurate assessment. I wasn't lying folks. Honestly, what do you think other college coaches think of him? They know he has the worst schemes, even worst game day tactics, and that he basically has no clue what he is doing anymore in the classroom and on the field. This is how MANY others in college coaching have been viewing the man for years now. Welcome aboard to what his peers were seeing long ago.

Iowa hasn't won the B1G since 2004 With the exception of 2009, every year since then has had a lot of question marks. Kirks way is stale and I think it is time to part ways which would probably be best for all parties before this gets too ugly. My concern is kirk is too stubborn to step down.

Thanks, what I like the most about it is how fans and their message boards can be so similar to one another. With the exception of one school (Minnesota, where fans were more or less apathetic) the posts could be copied and pasted with a few slight changes. It's the same story everywhere. Melts are melts.
