It's definitely not a great start to the season, but it's too early to be freaking out now. Baseball isn't a game to be looking at small sample sizes. Losing to Utah isn't great, but NU had plenty of chances to score more runs, it just couldn't come up with the timely hit.

If NU keeps putting guys on base like it did against Utah, we will score more runs. Give the team until the end of March to see where it's at.

 
Currently 4-0 Oregon State, once again Nebraska has been getting guys on base couldn't get timely hit. It's in top of the 4th, Meyers is out after throwing 63 pitches, in the ballpark they stated.

 
Was hoping the team would avoid another slow start this year. Maybe losing those 2 games last weekend cost the team valuable reps that would have been useful against tougher competition this weekend (and next)

It's definitely possible... I mean those are valuable games that us, as a northern team won't have.

Huskers fighting back, 2-4 Oregon State now, runners on 2nd and 3rd, two outs, Meyers is up.
