Our problem today was 3, 4 & 5 with no hits. Pitching is a disappointment, because of the number of experienced players we had coming back. #1 problem is throwing strikes, as we get behind batters too often and the opponent just sits and waits for the fastball.

Yea, we needed more production out of that part of the lineup.

I feel we should of had the opening game of the series. From what Roeder has done in his time here, I feel he would like that one back. It looks like this will be a rare occurrence with Roeder closing.

I hope you're right because this squad struggles to put more than 2 good games together at a time.

This was disappointing because Iowa is not a good team. They played respectable team and were swept. This Husker team appears lack metal toughness.
