4-0 after 1 and a half. Matt seemingly doesn't have it tonight. If the offense doesn't get it going, it's going to be a long game. And I'm attending.

Again can't blame the ump, but some questionable calls from my pov on the outside of the plate to leftys.

Nebraska not doing much offensively obviously, only two balls put in player were grounders. Three (maybe four) strikeouts. Two swinging, he's throwing what looks to be a breaking pitch possibly a slider inside/inside and down that's fooling us. His changeup misses outside it seems. At least I think it's his changeup.

He has walked 3 batters.

6 runs, 9 hits and no one is in the bullpen. People should be warming up. This is bad coaching.

I do what I can. Last season was too frustrating, and if things don't turn quickly this will be come as frustrating.

The justification is that it's the first game, so you can't get into your bullpen so soon.  It's all pretty irrelevant as this team has no offensive identity anyway, and haven't for a few years (I don't count "let Schreiber hit the ball 450 feet". Even though he was damn good at that.)

Waldron did pretty well to last 6 innings.  But again, saving the bullpen is irrelevant if your offense can only score runs when the other team gifts them to you (i.e. Purdue.)
