Hohensee had been lights out the past few starts. He got burned by some fly balls and the wind blowing out to left field.Did you see me throw a "fit" during a basketball loss? Nope. Our volleyball team choked In the final 4 but at least they won the conference which is greatYour crap just gets old. If any of the Husker teams lose, you throw a fit, call the team chokers, and then you go on your way.
You did it with the women's volleyball team, and now you are doing it with the baseball team.
Yes, this loss is disappointing, but these kids don't owe you anything.
This is Ertads 5th year and we haven't seen any sort of progression. Eliminated early in what the last two B1G tournaments and 2 regionals?
Our best pitcher is Meyers by a landslide IMO and he should've started today. Always important to win the first game of the series so you start your best pitcher.
Meyers may be the best starter, but he is used in Sunday so he can play in the field on Friday and Saturday. If he were to pitch on Friday, he would have a dead arm on Saturday and would be ineffective in the outfield.
I am not saying this loss isn't frustrating, but at least give it the entire weekend before you throw your typical tantrum.
