I was in Las vegas this last week... I happened to be at the UNLV baseball stadium one afternoon and spoke to a couple of guys setting up a massive tailgate party. One of the guys was originally from Omaha, Mark Armstrong. His son is a Soph at UNLV Joey Armstrong. Anyway he was telling me that SDSU was coming to town that day and both teams have Aces that will get drafted in the top 20 this year. Sounds like the Huskers could have their hands full this weekend. Hopefully the guys respond and start showing more consistency on the diamond!

This should be a good test. UNLV is playing good baseball so far. I hope we can get a sweep or at least the series.

I wish I was in Lincoln, however I am working in Omaha. It has been a little chilly all day here in Omaha, but I'm not 100% sure on Lincoln. According to my phone it is 41 degrees.

wow a chain of events have just unfolded..... basehit scores a runner from 2nd after a stolen base. Kildow attempted throw home and threw it halfway up the first base line... next batter hits a bomb all with 2 outs score 4-0

ground out ends the inning but the damage is done... UNLV ace still on the mound with a low pitch count still going strong... the boys have some major work to do here
