Final AP Poll

I remember when our AP ranking streak of 33 years ended in 2002. It sure was a bummer. Before that season I couldn't remember a season when we weren't ranked. Probably nobody here could.

Thanks Bo...Thanks Riley

Florida, at 9-4, ranked 14th. LSU 13th at 8-4. Virginia Tech at 10-4, ranked 16th. Colorado at 9-4 ranked 17th. Every team 20-25 has four losses with the exception of SDSU at 11-3.

Auburn ranked with an 8-5 record while losing 3 of their last 4 and getting beat by an unranked Georgia team near the end of the season?

We can complain all we want about other 4 loss teams being ranked. Fact is we aren't a top 25 team. 62-3 and 40-10 cemented that. We have to get better, much better, if we want others to acknowledge Nebraska football.

If Riles doesn't have a better year next year after finally getting his choice of QB under center (Lee or POB most likely), we'd better be scouting really hard for replacements for when he retires in a few years.

His entire tenure is hinging on how well we play with TA gone and his hand chosen QB playing instead. We brought him here as a QB guru.. go prove it.

I'm so tired of being stuck in football purgatory.
