First time to Lincoln and Huskers game.....

Comming out from Seattle(thanks for shutting up the Huskies fans) and was wondering what are "Have to do things" while I'm there? Trophy rooms, hall of fame, watering holes, traditions etc? Looking forward to taking it all in.

IMO: On Friday night eat at Misty's old Steakhouse on Havelock. The marching band plays inside the restaurant with the cheerleaders for 2-3 hours marching and parading and pepping for the following game... sometimes Herbie and Lil Red show up too. It's a timeless tradition. Also, watch the gameday and Heisman videos in the Lobby of the Osborne complex, they don't air on game day.. so see them Sunday or Friday if time allows. Also, I recommend viewing the trophies on Friday or Sunday to avoid the zerg.

Thanks. Saturday may be my only chance to see the osborne ctr. Get in late in Omaha, and then work stuff Sun-tues. Wish they were playing a better team, but just the chance to be at the stadium is great. Already bought a t-shirt for the game.
