Five athletes from Mizzou taken in the first round...
Jeremy Maclin and Ziggy Hood in the first round of the NFL draft
and
Kyle Gibson and Aaron Crow in the first round of the MLB draft
and
Demarre Carroll in the first round of the NBA draft.
Someone researching this sort of thing says Mizzou is the 3rd Big 12 team to have players in 3 sports go in the first round....Texas in 2006 and OSU in 2004.
