Five Teams With Spring Recruiting Momentum (ESPN)

It's not a lie. The past 10+ national champions have had at least 2 top 10 classes out of the 5 they could potentially have on their roster.

It's no secret. If you ain't top 10 recruiting, you ain't winning a national championship.
Guess I hadn't even thought about it, but it's been over a decade now since we've had a top 10 class. That's kinda insane. Hopefully we can break that streak with this class.

Nebraska: "ESPN Jr. 300 receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr.'s commitment has triggered some much needed momentum for Mike Riley and his staff in Lincoln. Teammate and fellow ESPN Jr. 300 quarterback Tristan Gebbia committed shortly after, and the Cornhuskers have been trending up with a number of prospects on the West Coast in recent weeks including Jamire Calvin and ESPN Jr. 300 cornerback Deommodore Lenoir. The returns in California are music to the Cornhuskers’ fans ears. With that said, the next prospect to jump on board could be ESPN Jr. 300 linebacker Avery Roberts out of Delaware."
ESPN called it.

So maybe ESPN does know what they are doing....

It's almost like we don't have to let the disadvantages in recruiting define our success, who knew?

tOSU already has 2 5*s, 7 4*s, and 3 3*s for a #1 ranking, I think they've got the momentum.
I would agree that Ohio State has some serious recruiting momentum going right now but does that mean they are the only ones who can have recruiting momentum? I think not. We have some pretty serious recruiting momentum going right now as well and hopefully it continues right up to signing day.

A tom lemming endorsement of Nebraska recruiting.

Why does that have a foreboding ring to it?

Texas for years always had a top 3 class. They won like one championship in those years. Ranking for recruits means nothing to me. Players develop in different ways.
I guess you haven't seen that stat about Top 10 recruiting classes and national championships over the past 10 years.

oh look. it is forboding that these guys signed with Nebraska. way to throw them under the bus cm
First, they haven't signed.

Second, my low opinion of guys like Lemming have nothing to do with our recruits.

If you don't remember lemmings glowing endorsements of everything Callahan, learn some history.
