New coordinator. New position coach. New opportunity. You can't blame Curenski Gilleylen for being excited.
"I do look at it as a fresh start for me to go out there and show what I did before," the Husker wide receiver said after Monday's practice. "I played before and I made plays whenever I was out there. I know I can do it."

nothing like a fresh start....if you're a senior?...and never even touched the ball in a game last year?? :WTH sounds like Okafor 2.0. :box

 
I doubt very seriously that the coaches intend to use him as a conventional between-the-tackles RB. He will probably be used to catch passes out of the backfield, to run sweeps, and maybe to block if we run any odd formations involving multiple backs.

 
Translation: "I'm happy to be playing a position where the ball is handed to me, instead of trying to catch that pesky, elusive thing."
