I have to disagree. Your QB is only as good as his teamates. You can pitch it all day long, which Lee can do, but if you have no one to catch it and make the play its useless. Same thing for the hand off. He can handoff the ball, but if there is no one to run up the hole, or even create the hole, you won't be successfull. At times, Rex was just as good, if not better than Helu, and he is only a Freshman. Here's to hoping he is 100% by CO.Rex Burkhead is irrelevant as we have Helu. The problem is at QB, Zac Lee needs to be permanently benched.

It's not quite that simple. The bone may heal but he's had to stay off of it so that affects the bone, muscle, and ligament strength. There's an amout of rehab needed to build that foot back up to football shape.Doesn't he have a broken bone in his foot? If it's healed, there's no reason for him not to come back. It's a lot different injury than a ligament or tendon tear.
Exactly. AND unfortunately there is no guarantee that it heals correctly. Here's hoping. It's not quite that simple. Broken foot is nothing to mess with. Come back too soon and you risk permanent damage. It's not quite that simple. Burkhead proved to be a good backup. If you think our only problem is QB than I suggest you follow the team more closely.Rex Burkhead is irrelevant as we have Helu. The problem is at QB, Zac Lee needs to be permanently benched.
If Cornhuskers is really a Huskers fan and not a troll he doesn't seem to know too much about football . . . seriously. Read his posts.Burkhead proved to be a good backup.
