My favorite animation TV list (in order)

1. King of the Hill (1997 thru 2009 R.I.P.). I liked Dale Gribble. Probably upgraded to #1 because "Suite Smells of Excess" episode**.

1.(tied) The Simpsons (since 1989). Of course Homer and Bart. And Monty Burns, Krusty, Skinner, Moe, Flanders, and on and on and on ....

3. Family Guy (since 1999). Without Stewie, basically garbage. And sex-addicted next-door neighbor - funny! ("Giggity")

4. Futurama (2008 thru 2013)

5. American Dad (since 2005).

I never watched South Park and SpongeBob. Pretty good?

South Park is great. Spongebob is a children's show.... You might also check out Archer. It is probably my #1 animated show right now.
