I read that article in the LJS and there is a second round pick who has been getting most of the playing time in the preseason. Washington has been doing most of the sitting.

Buckhalter simply has never been healthy. He had one good year, for a rookie, and now has been hurt ever since.

He's not in the nickel or dime packages. He can't even get on the field when the Raiders use formations calling for seven defensive backs

It seems that a lot of NFL teams are now experimenting with the seven defensive back set.
