Forfeit to Ohio State now!

I just hope Frost keeps some of his playbook under wraps this Saturday, so he still has something to surprise Ohio State with in the Big 10 Championship Game.
Excellent point.  Huskers don't really need to win this game - just survive and learn and improve from it.   Play lots of backups and test new plays and plant 'seeds' in the future defensive coordinators on the important and most winnable games in order to win our division mainly.   Would be a great bonus to win this one but really we need to focus on the season and future goals most importantly.

@walksalone Absolutely love your campaign sticker.

If you plant the seed in your team that you only need to focus on winnable games, you won't win a lot of games.

Yeah, I'm like 110% sure that is not the message Frost is conveying to the team. He wants them to approach every game like they intend to win. That "would be a bonus" and "future goals" stuff is a bunch of crap. Only losers prepare to lose.

tOSU is talented across the board and they have absolutely demolished their competition thus far.

Enough said on what they are capable of and what they can do. A great team, no doubt x10.

Sometimes being tested (and losing like we have) can build some damn character.

Nebraska has been punched in the mouth and swallowed a loss we shouldn’t have. They’ve come back from a deficit and won. Faced adversity.

Conversely, tOSU hasn’t. Hopefully some of our callouses have hardened and we can punch them in the mouth and see how they react. It absolutely will take a much more mistake free game, if we can stop stubbing our toe we have a punchers chance. Don’t forfeit, go play hard and see...that’s why we play the games

We can't turn the ball over and commit dumb penalties. Stop the run, get a pass rush on Fields and hope he makes some errant throws. Its easier said than done. While I'm anxious to see their QB get tested, Frost's guys haven't been in this spotlight. Most of the tOSU guys have. We can't come out too fired up to where we blow assignments.

My heart says the game and environment will be like the 2009 OU-NEB game but my gut says it'll be like the 2008 Missouri game at home

Hopefully we see some more quick passes, bubble screens etc. Last year we got no pressure on the QB and Dobbins ran wild on us. Hopefully we can flip the script
