nothing will come of this talk between the former players and peterson. peterson will start praising them on how good they were back then and how we are trying to get back to this level. peterson is very astute, will control the conversation, and then there will be some sort of press release stating how constructive it was. abolsutely nothing would come out of this meeting. the only people that can effect change right now are the board of regents, and they have more important things to concern themselves with, e.g. running a larger university.

They won 24-3 after losing at K State the week before 45-21. Then they lost the next week at ISU. I was at both games, and the defense was a completely different group against Mizzou than they were all year. (This was the defense that gave up 70 to Texas Tech.)
Still Missouri outgained NU that day; Dailey completed only 4 passes. It was the day Herrion's leg was broken.
