Former Texas LB Knocks Out a Woman

That smuck was a former Longhorn? Figures, that freaking douche bag deserved every bit of that beating.....and then some!

I can't wait to hear from our Texas friends why in this case sucker punching a woman was justified, because I can guarantee you there are fans out there that will defend this jack a$$.

This week TMZ.com posted video of man punching a woman outside of a bar in Austin, Texas. The impact of the blow to the young woman, which came from behind and was never seen by the victim, sent her crashing face down into the pavement.

The man who was seen punching the woman was then confronted and allegedly beaten by MMA fighter Roger Huerta.

While the identity of the man who struck the woman has not officially been released by the Austin Police Department, I’ve learned from multiple sources who threw the punch.Former starting Univ. of Texas Linebacker Rashad Bobino, who last played for the Longhorns in 2008, was the individual who punched the unidentified woman from behind as seen in the TMZ.com video.

Bobino is now out of football after being cut by the Atlanta Falcons before the 2009 NFL season.

Late Thursday, the AUSTIN AMERICAN-STATESMAN reported that Austin Police are aware of the videotape and that no charges or arrests have been made.

Veneza E. Aguinaga, a senior police officer in the Public Information office of the Austin Police Department, told an MMA website Thursday evening that the, “APD had no information on the incident.”

Much of the investigation into this incident will obviously depend on witness accounts and whether the female victim comes forward. With an ex-Longhorn football player involved, the Austin PD will no doubt proceed cautiously in its public pronouncements.

Huerta speaks on the matter

Former Texas LB Rashad Bobino knocks a woman out in front of a bar. Ex-UFC fighter Roger Huerta sees this and then gives Bobino the beatdown he deserves.

Sorry, don't know how to put the article on here in a proper format. Feel free to do so.'

We need to get Roger Huerta some Husker gear and some free tickets for 10/16/10. That would be awesome. Maybe a gameday interview if no charges are pressed.

Chris Fowler- Hey Roger, did you know this was going to get you so much great press in the state of Nebraska??? They all really support you and your defense of a girl being hit by an ex-longhorn.

While watching that video I felt half blind because the screen was soooo narrow.

I didn't know that Roger Huerta isn't in the UFC anymore....I really liked him as a fighter and his fighting style.
