Three-Star Recruit
Grew up in the San Joaquin Valley from about 4 years old, bout an hour north of Bakersfield against the Sierra Nevadas. In different areas there is different crops almost as far as the eye can see, our area was orange belt country but there is all kinds of other stuff being grown in all them different areas along with a lot of ranching. There is a reason they call it the "Bread Basket of the world". Later years there was always a big corn maze somewhere for Halloween. Biggest AG show in the world in Tulare Ca., unless some other place has laid claim to that recently.Driving I-80 near Sacramento is much like driving through Nebraska. Flat land, corn fields, John Deere tractors & center-pivot irrigation as far as the eye can see. With all of the stereotypes about California, it's easy to forget just how much of the state is farmland...Fun fact...
This was shot in California
Great place to grow up and live but I'm glad I'm not there any more. In Big Sky country now for the past 7 years.
