Fox Sports replays

well im sure i'll be watching it and its good thing i had a buddy of mine record it to dvd so i can watch it all week long :woo

As I am watching the replay, Taylor has gotten drilled a couple of times. Hopefully this isn't a trend for the whole year.

If you also noticed about that...Taylor waited until the last second to throw the ball. He has more then enough time on several occasions to get rid of the ball.

Did anyone else think the one announcer sounded like Herbstreet? Just an observation. Anyway yeah, Taylor seemed calm and threw the ball nicely most of the time even with a big hit less than a second away.

I love the kids toughness and determination but one of those hits may be his last. His protection is the key to the season IMO.

It made me nervous seeing Taylor wait til the last minute to throw a few times, but he was on his back a lot less than last year imo. It was only against LA Tech though, so we will see how the line is against the speed of USC.

Taylor looked like he had NFL-esque pocket presence out there though. A few times who avoided sacks alltogether, and he had a handful of nice scrambles. I'll take an 8 yard QB scramble anyday (until Taylor starts to act like Crouch and tries to run people over :o )

I am real happy that ZT is running the team. He knows what he has to do. He is respected. And even with all the drops, I didn't see him get on anybody. He started 0-5 because of that, but finished 22-33, missing on only 6 passes after the beginning. He is a great QB.
