Frank was in a no win situation, hell any coach following Tom with Tom's aging assistants would have been as well.

Frank coached the freshman team to numerous #1 teams.. Remember, we had a Freshman team back then.. This wasn't Franks first time as a head coach.

Our freshman team played a lot of sub par opponents as well and that was intentional. Wins were important to get the kids used to winning, used to expecting to win.

Oh, Frank was the head coach at Lincoln Southeast in the 70s also. He won high school championships in 76 and 77.
