Wondering when the incoming freshmen will be assigned their jersey numbers?

Not even half the class is on cmapus right now. When they get to campus, and camp starts then they get their numbers. That usually happens around mid-late July, I believe.

I always get excited when I see what numbers the freshmen get.

In review of the roster anyone know why we list various players at either IB & RB? Is there a difference in their roles in the offense or on the team?

I think RB means that they potentially could play either the up back or an IB spot.

The coaches reached out to several incoming players last spring and asked them what number they wanted. Aaron Green is going to be #2, not sure about the rest though. The info I have comes from their twitter posts. But several have indicated they know what number is going to be on their backs in the fall.
