I'll take the blue angels but if a b1 bomber or two flys by ill be happy. At afterburner I know of no military aircraft as loud as a b1.
When I was in college I used to take my books to the north end of the runway and watch those things do touch-and-goes all the time.I was in the NE ANG back in 74. RF-4C; wow I think they had to dive to break the sound barrier![]()
I have a cousin who said he was notified he's being considered as one of the guys to jump for a Husker game this year, but he didn't know any specifics. Sounds like you may get your wishHow about a platoon of paratroopers jumping out of blackhawks onto the field? that sounds B*d*ss
I work at the Pinnacle Bank out in Air Park, and it is a zoo out here.I am at home. I live very close to the airport.
I havn't seen any on NW 48th, but since about 9 this morning it has been bumper to bumper in Air Park. I get off work at 5, and I live on 27th and highway 2, I'm praying my drive home isn't as bad as I am expecting.Any accidents? I'm not too far from the road from the Highlands to Kawasaki, and there have been two emergency calls since the flights started today. People are rubbernecking at the planes and crashing into each other.
The F22s are currently grounded by the AD due to malfunctions/problems with the oxygen supply units.Just for pure BA sound I always loved F-18s , nothing sounds as loud or pissed off to me. So the blue angles would be my #1 choice.
What happened to the F-22s?
