Friday Night Home Games

1. Will the Huskers host a Friday night home game for sure in the near future?

2. How do you think this will impact the city of Lincoln as far as parking, restaurants, bars and possibly even the U having to cancel classes on that Friday (Not a big deal, I know) but it seems like for Lincoln this might be a bad idea?

 
I read they will do one Fri night away game per year AND one home every third.

A number of intelligent upstanding folks oppose this and at least one state sen has written SE about it.

Obviously Fri. night college football is a bad idea.

 
I absolutely do not agree with the Huskers playing on Friday nights. Although small and insignificant I will not attend any home games on Friday nights out of protest.

 
I'm in the minority that the Friday night games don't bother me that much. Get rid of them or keep them I'm pretty indifferent but I'll be in Vegas the Friday NU plays Illinois so I'm pretty excited for that game

 
Have I ever told you guys how absolutely stupid I believe playing college football on Friday nights is?

If not.....someday I might take the time to write it out.

I'm in the same boat with you. The Friday night games don't bother me that much either. Tons of other leagues have Thursday and Friday night games. I understand that high school football is a big deal for many people in the Big Ten footprint, so I get how that creates a conflict there.

 
I don't mind an occasional Friday night game on the road (similar to what we did a few times with KSU/Mizzou on Thursday). But I don't think we need to be playing Friday night home games.
