Actually, we had a really good QB when he was here. The QB is now the all-time leading rusher in Nicholls history and could throw the ball quite well, when we did throw it - which was seldom.

All in all, Mickey was a great guy on and off the field. I really enjoyed him being in Thibodaux.

From what I remember hearing, he is back in Nebraska. From what I recal, his wife is a dentist (possibly a specialist) and she had a job offer that she could not turn down. Combine that with his low salary coaching at Nicholls, he left.

The OC is also the QB coach.

Thanks for the info and that is great for him. The school that he is at was started by former Florida and Saint QB Danny Wuerffel. You should check out all that they have been forced to go through and are still going through becuase of Katrina.

Wow....

What a refreshing post...see this is the sh#t im talking about...what a good fan. This is how I like Huskers to act and in the most part we do. I'm the type of fan that doesn't say "We're gonna beat them or we're gonna smoke em" I just look forword to watching my team play football.

I wish it was on TV!!!!!

I've seen video of this kid and it perplexed me that he wasn't playing for a 1A school.

It has got me through many games that werent televised. Its the next best thing.

Why can't fans of the majority of our opposing teams be like this? Anyone? I'm glad to see that there are still fans out there that don't come here to "dog" us and our team to raise the temp of our blood!
