Does it seem like it's been a while since we've been in the top 5? I started thinking about that yesterday. I started wondering how many teams have spent time in the top 5 since Bo's been here. Nebraska spent one week in the top 5 over the last 7 seasons.

I only used the AP rankings for the data. The following teams have spent at least one week in the top five since 2008 (no particular order):

Great, the homers are going to use the stat, "Nebraska is one of only 33 teams to be in the top 5 since 2008" to argue that Bo should keep his job.

Man, 2010 was the best of times (UW Pt. 1, K State, Okie State, Mizzou) and the worst of times (Texas, A&M, Big 12 CCG, UW Pt. 2). As painful as some of that was, I would trade this season for that one 1,000 times over.
