Funniest Play of the Season: Kenny Helps Rex

He's our own McKayla!

Let's show him our support, guys. Let's make this big. Spread it around. When Huskers score touchdowns I want to see sideline shots ofall our players making this face.

I fail to realize what was so funny about the play that the OP is talking about. Kenny put in 110% effort on that play and pushed the last tackler out of Rex's way so he could waltz into the endzone. Not much funny about that, just really awesome.

Because it's not really a "funny" play. Anyone who has played football, has seen this on a big play with a convoy of blockers, be it an interception or punt return.

Thats MSpainting......but i love it.
FTFY

MSpaint is hard so give the Maudfather a break :)
To the untrained eye, it's difficult to realize that the photo has been altered, but yes, that is definitely MSpaint. You can tell when you look closely at the pixels.

Let's put it this way: What do you think would have happened had Kenny not directed Rex to keep running for the goal line? Is it possible that Rex already had thought of the exact same plan? What are the odds of that? Waving Burkhead into the end zone is like teaching the Pope how to pray.

He was trying to trick the defender into switching directions and it worked. Smart play, kenny

LOL, that we are now discussing the mechanics of this brilliance.

Kenny was being, err, satirical? Not sure that's the best word.

Stating the obvious?

Something along those lines. Kenny has one helluva sense of humor, I think. That is this play. And it was brilliant. Absolutely so.

Like some guy here in Florida standing on I-95 and giving hand signals to help land the space shuttle. Very funny stuff.

I thought it was funny because Kenny was like "c'mon man". And Rex was all "naw, that ain't me", and ran a different direction.

It's funnier if you provide your own commentary.

Another funny play was when Jamal Turner zigzagged 40 yds around half dozen defenders, to only gain about 4 yds. The guy is elusive as heck.
That would be:

Jamal "After Every Time I Get Tackled I Act Like I Could Have Went All The Way" Turner
I've taken to calling him JamALMOST Turner, as in, he ALMOST took that to the House, every time he touches it.

Almost is right, and when he finally does break one, he's probably gonna go all "Dante Hall" on everyone.
