- You know Rutgers has appeared in eight bowl games since 2005? And won five. Huskers appeared in eight bowls too but only four victories.

- In 2006, Rutgers (11W-2L) awarded #12 in final Coaches CFB poll. Huskers was not rated :cry .

- 1961 season was particularly remarkable as it was the Rutgers undefeated season (9–0) including Alabama.
