Game ball goes to...

Offense - Martinez

Defense - Henery?
I concur. T-Mart is obvious for the O and Henery just keeps on rolling. Can't give out a vote for Hagg when he still has not learned how to turn around and locate the ball. Didn't he get burned for 2 TD's?

I give the game ball to Zac Lee.

Great senior moxie and composure shown with that headset on. :-)

Offense: Martinez, Paul, Helu (tough running today), Kinnie (no TDs coming in. Now he's got 3)

Defense: Ummmmmm...........how about that Husker offense huh?

Props to Niles, hell of a game...sorry our fans are spoiled and treat players like s*** if they have a bad game.

It turns my stomach. Its one thing to complain on a message board and another to verbally attack them on the street.

I say a game ball to the receiving corp. They took alot of heat this week but came out and played like men. There is no excuse to what some fans were saying after Texas and now our guys definitely deserve the credit.

Although it would be easy for me to just give it to Martinez for his stats, I really have to give it equally to Paul. Martinez touched the ball on every play, but Paul absolutely made the most of his touches today, making some clutch grabs and that huge return. Props have to be given to the guy for really bringing his game in a game when we really needed him. Same goes for Martinez.

Defense? Umm......Hagg.

Special teams: Alex of course for his drive-sustaining 1st down that allowed us to score, his awesome field goals, and gorilla punts. He needs mention in every game. That guy is going to be really missed next year.

I may be alone here but I would give it to Paul, he completely redeemed himslef for last week imo. The 101 yard kick off return was amazing. He finaly looked like the athlete we all knew he was, I just hope he can show some consistency and keep up what he did today the rest of the season. Also he earned some stripes today, the radio mentioned he is the first husker in history with two kick returns for touchdowns.

I would say Niles Paul for showing maturity and focus by having a great game this week after the poor outing last week. But with 5 TD passes and over 300 yards passing as a 'running' QB it's hard to argue against Martinez. The defense certainly needs work, but we shouldn't kid ourselves, Oklahoma State is a very good offensive football team.
