I agree but I have the feeling next week is gonna be a good one, especially after seeing the previewThey need to pick the pace up or have something happen. Last few have been disappointing.
GoT always has 2-3 setup episodes to make for 1 big climactic episode. I kinda like the setup episodes better, because they cover a number of characters and storylines and make me wonder what is going to happen next. They need to pick the pace up or have something happen. And if gives you more of a reason to listen to your GoT's podcasts...GoT always has 2-3 setup episodes to make for 1 big climactic episode. I actually think that this last episode wasnt lacking in greatness. From the return of the hound (my fiance wanted it to be Gendry) to each of the Snow/Stark crew showing where they were able to do their best work to effing Arya getting effing STABBED! Great episode imo.
I was pretty excited when they announced that he had been cast, and then, dead.Hate to see a great character appear, and then just as quickly, get killed off.

Ian McShane, aka, Al Swearingen of Deadwood. I remember thinking a couple years back that he'd make a great character on GoT. Except I pictured him as an evil conniving king, not some itinerant preacher leading a flock.
