Why all the interest in where Gameday is held?

You're not planning on making any embarra$$ing signs are you?

Call me crazy but wasn't gameday just at the Coliseum this week? I don't see them going back there 2 weeks after they were just there. There's no reason they wouldn't come to Lincoln, unless some other two teams step up and demand attention. - the only game I see even on the bubble is possibly Iowa vs. Michigan State if neither loses another game before than.
Great point. If we can pull off an impressive victory over Va Tech I wouldn't be too shocked to see the Gameday crew in Lincoln. Especially since Mizzou hasn't won here in 30 years. Should be interesting.

USC/Oregon is a way better draw than Nebraska/Missouri.

Way more tv's watching that game than ours. Not even close. Not to mention all watching wanting to see SC get beat.

NO Chance kids, it is not going to happen.

Be happy we got a regional game with VaTech, finish that and see what happens.
After losing to one or both of Boise St at home and Washington St on the road? Except for USC, the Pac 10 is looking pretty bad this year, and an Oregon team on the road without its starting QB doesn't sound too promising. I mean if Purdue almost beat them, what'll USC do to them?

After Herbie got hit in the head with a corn cob last year he is probably voting not to come back!!

MU @ NU has the opportunity to be a HUGE offensive game.... viewers love to see that...

USC and Oregon, well. that has the opportunity to be a blow out. bad game. especially now w/ Oregon's qb out.....

Even if you don't go to the Oregon/USC game, you still have another matchup of top 10 teams when OSU travels to Madison to play Wisconsin.

1 loss NU vs 1 loss KU :dunno

other than that, naw.... but undefeated MU @ undefeated NU (with all the history) surely is more impressive than USC and Oregon?? i mean.... the pac 10 is a joke... -USC
You also have Ohio State at Wisconsin that same day. Could be a toss up between 3 different places. All depends on how each team plays leading up to that week.

We are unranked, and have not beaten a top 15 program in over 7 years.

We sucked the last two times we had gameday. The overall oppinion would be the same.

There is very little interest in Nebraska outside the state.

USC/Oregon is one of the largest viewing bases there is. I think there are several interesting games in the SEC also.

We only got on gameday due to playing SC. They want winners. WE are not. NOT A CHANCE THIS YEAR is my guess.

Just the way it is guys. It is decided by money/viewers. We could not even begin to match up.

If it were down to USC/Oregon, Nebraska/Mizzou, or OSU/Wisconsin I'd say that Gameday would head down to OSU/Wisconsin or the Nebraska/Mizzou game because for one Gameday has already been to USC but Kirk is way too in love with OSU and Pelini that he'll choose to go to one of those two games. <_<

Herbstreit does not decide this. The network decides and is all about money. Viewing base decides this. Way more people for the OHio State/Wisconsin or USC/Oregon games. NO CHANCE.

and what would you consider Mizzou then?

I consider them winners, but they want premier match ups. SC/Oregon both rated and considered among the best, Ohio State/Wisconsin both rated and considered strong programs, capable of playing with other top 20 programs.

Missouri, considered the best offense in the country, Nebraska somewhat struggling against cupcakes on its schedule, has not beaten a top 15 program in 7 years, first year coach, total blowouts on gameday the last two, finished near the botton of the Big 12 last year..

If it was say SC/Stanford on the same day, would you feel that would have a chance. Same scenario.
