I live in Illinois and went to NU. Lets compare cities. Chicago verse Omaha.

Argument over

Chicago is one of the greatest cities in the country. Yes there is more to do in Chiago than there is to do in Omaha just like there is more to do in Omaha compared to Lincoln. What's your point.

When it comes to things to do, NYC blows Chicago out of the water from every aspect.

None of them even come close to Des Moines, IA. :horns2
